Currently, ca. 130 PhD Candidates participate in the ISOS PhD Programme. 50% are doctoral students of the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences (GEOMAR), the rest coming from a further 12 Institutes of the CAU from the faculties of natural sciences, law, medicine and economics. 50% of the PhD Candidates are female.
